FFXIII coming to Xbox 360

To be honest, I am a little disappointed. I was surprised when I made my daily visit to FF7AC reunion and saw their news header. Immediately, I went over to Kotaku for confirmation. It was big enough news to gather about 1000 comments on this post. I can’t help but feel sorry for Sony, especially since the PS3 is not doing very well. I thought FF13 would be their saving grace, or as some people would like to believe, a FF7 remake exclusively for the PS3. ^^; It’s Sony’s loss, I think, but where I am concerned, it shouldn’t make too much of a difference or impact. I would still buy a PS3 as and when the game comes out. Due to the fact that we own a PS2, we don’t feel any attachment for the Xbox.

So don’t worry, Sony. You still have me. Maybe FF14 will be a PS3 exclusive?? ^^;;

Ps. It’s funny when you see comments on niconico going ‘PS3 is over!!’ or ‘PS3 is dead!’ etc etc ^^;

Ps.Ps. The funniest one has to be this -> ’2008/07/15 will be the memorial date of PS3′s last battle’ Something like that.

FF7 Play Arts Vol 2: Sephiroth & Vincent

I collected them last week and finally took them out of their boxes. Yay! Between the two figures, I think I like Vincent better, if only because he seems more sturdy and steady than Sephiroth. His Silver Hair Highness is rather stiff, and his body seems to lean to one side (?), AND I can’t seem to move his legs. I also noticed some teeny weeny white ‘paint’ (?!) on his left arm. Argh. The good point about both figures though, is the face sculpting, definitely much better than the Advent Children version. Here’s proof!

There is also brown highlights in Vincent’s hair, most notably at the front bangs and the piece of hair that goes under his red head band, so its not totally black.

Nice hair! Advent Children PA Vincent’s hair looks lame in comparison… There are 2 parts that make up his hair, so it’s not just one lump of plastic. ^^;

Lovely red cape. The red paint job was nice in my point of view. Compared to AC PA Vincent’s cape, it is VERY HARD. You can’t bend it even if you want to. The cape is my favorite part of Vincent, aside from the head.

I think this Vincent PA is probably the 2nd best among the Play Arts that I owned. His chest area has added articulation! The best one in my possession is Squall, my only FF8 PA among his FF7 counterparts. ^^;;…

Now for Sephiroth

The hair looks great! Its like a silver gradient, instead of the dull flat gray for AC Sephiroth. HOWEVER, I found out that the paint can be scraped off easily with your finger nails. -_- At first, I thought there was a dirty ‘spot’ on his hair, so I tried to scrape it off with my nail and voila! I realized what came off was the silver paint. I had actually made it worse… So in actual fact, that dirty ‘spot’ was the part where the paint had come off. I’m trying really hard to ignore that teeny ‘spot’. >_<

I don’t have more pictures of his Silver Hair Highness, because I was a bit tired by the time I got to dear old Sephy. I would like to point out that AC Sephiroth has better articulation than Game Sephiroth. It seems his waist can’t be twisted and his leather coat can’t be removed, which just makes articulation that much worse. They’re restricting his legs, on top of his already stiff legs in the first place. Or is it just Unlucky!Me that got a defective figure? >_> It’s too bad AC Seph suffered from poor face sculpting and less than dazzling hair than his Game version. Another thing, Game Sephiroth came with a masamune that is even longer than AC Seph’s masamune. O.O The hilt was nice though.

The 2 of them. Eh? Sephiroth is taller than Vincent?

First of all, I have got spam in this WordPress account. O.O For some reason, I never thought I would be attacked by them. Am I being targeted because this place is lonely and isolated with hardly any activity? Sigh… Whatever it is, I’m glad Akismet is there to settle it. Good job! ^^

I have to visit the site at least once daily, to scoop out new stuff or post interesting things that I’ve found. You can almost always find cool stuff at Tumblr (images especially), because the site seems to have nurtured a culture just for that. I like my Tumblr so much that I could just stare at it and not do anything else. Talk about being strangely obsessed. ^^;

They have recently implemented the tags feature which is really nice, although there is no tag cloud to make use of, which would have made my day. I was wondering for a moment whether compiling the links from Tumblr in WordPress would become redundant, but I figure it is still slightly easier to have all your links in one post, as opposed to many.

Tumblr is Love.
